The first thing I will say is that the book as a whole is a lot better written than almost every other autobiographical snooker book I have ever read and is intensely personal (I will pre-empt one comment by saying I have never read ‘Griff’!). By the end of it you do feel as though you know the subject a lot better and that to me is a sign of a job well done.
